Where It All Began
A Dream of Coming Home
Ora Retreat was born from a simple belief: everyone deserves a place to truly rest and reconnect. In 2018, we opened our first doors in Queenstown, New Zealand, with a dream of creating something different — a retreat that felt less like a hotel and more like coming home.
The word “Ora” means life, health, and wellbeing in te reo Māori. It perfectly captures what we strive to offer every guest: an experience that nourishes body, mind, and spirit.
